I'm attempting to make my own Wazdakka model.... The standard has to be high, as his awesome must dwarf that of the rest of my army, The model must be made of an orks wet dream~!
brb, need to appease Gork and Mork
.........
I started him at midnight on the 22nd of February and 9 hours later He's pretty much done , i still need to clean him up and green stuff over parts to finish the model off to the standard I want.
But the plan was simple. Combine an work wartrukk engine with a warbike~!
The plan is simple... combine a
Warbike with the engine for a
wartrukk
These are part of the core ingredients for this project. I had to make a front wheel support/suspension as the normal ork bike wasn't gonna cut it (plus it looked too weedy!)

Plus I didn't quite realise just hog much *bigger* the engine was to the bike (but thats fine...Wazdakka's meant to have the biggest and the bestest bike out there! big engine = win)

Using some stormboyz rokkit parts I then made the underbelly/front of the engine into a kinda rokkit/jet contraption as I thought it just looked silly ending flat underneath the front wheel

Also added the back tire, footrest and another front armour for support

I needed to green stuff the front on in the end, reinforced it with some super glue so it would hold firm whilst I continued working on other stuff, and would also let me tease it into a better position later if need be.

Added some extra support for the back wheel, it also made it look like the wheel was attached to the bike now, rather than just glued onto the wheel arc. Added on the ammo feed rack at the back, I wasn't sure how I was gonna use it at the time, but the back did need beefing up a bit, otherwise the model would be front heavy~

Wazdakka's bike is know for being heavily "kustomised" so I figured the more pipes and exhaust pipes I could fit on the better~! the wartrukk had a great big exhaust pipe which fit perfectly on the model~ I also began adding some tech onto his back from the lootas/burnas kit, to give it the feel that there was a lot of hardware on this bike and not just a bike

Fuels gotta be somewhere right~? I figured Wazdakka would be crazy enough to expose his fuel to the enemy and dare them to shoot it, dat kray-zeh ork~ (I also had a fun idea about adding a straw/tube to it, so it looks like he also drinks his fuel when he's thirsty)

Almost on the home straight now, started adding all the small parts; cross-hairs, a micro-missile from the lootas kit, handlebars... small stuff. I also Blu-tac, the wazdakka model I quickly made from the bikers kit (and yush that is a chain klaw you see there, it needs a bit of greenstuffing to make it seemless and natural)

Then I realised "Oh Snap! I forgot his dakkacannon, so I knocked this gun up. I think it was about 7:30am now. My creative spark for wavering a bit (I did want a cannon but I didn't have the parts to make one)
